Editorial policy

Purpose

PaperworkOS publishes practical administrative guidance. Each page should help a reader perform a concrete organization task without pretending to replace an official decision-maker or professional adviser.

Originality and usefulness

We do not publish pages merely by swapping keywords, locations or product names into a shared template. A page should add a distinct method, tool, worked example, source path or explanation that earns its place on the site. Where several narrow pages would repeat the same method, we prefer one stronger guide.

Source hierarchy

For current forms, portals, fees, deadlines, eligibility criteria and agency processes, primary official sources are preferred. Secondary sources may help explain context but should not override the issuing organization. External links are descriptive; PaperworkOS does not control those sites.

Dates and changing information

When a guide discusses a changing process, readers are told to re-check the official source. Generic tools intentionally avoid hard-coding legal or policy deadlines that may vary by jurisdiction or circumstance.

Software-assisted drafting

Software, including generative systems, may assist with outlining, editing, code or draft language. That does not turn a draft into a source. Published material is reviewed for unsupported claims, invented citations, repetitive boilerplate, misleading authority and internal contradictions.
